Wednesday 3rd Cardiff Bay Walk • – 4 miles circular walk around the Cardiff Bay & Penarth Marina. Meet 6.30pm at the Norwegian Church. Contact Katherine on 029 20881572

Sunday 7th Smaller COG Walk • – A gentle 2 mile stroll around Parc Bryn Bach (NP22 3AY) just off A465 Heads of the Valleys road. Aimed at families with young children but all members welcome. Sunday 7th Concert to Celebrate the 5th Birthday of the City Voices Cardiff Choir – featuring songs from musicals Wicked, Sister Act, Les Miserables, Hairspray and many more, performed by 180 voices and a 40 piece orchestra. Special guest John Owen-Jones performs. The performance will be raising money for Velindre Cancer Care. Tickets cost from £5 to £20. At the St. David’s Hall, Cardiff & starts 7pm. Tuesday 16th Rudry Common Walk • – 4 mile walk along the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway footpath and Rudry Common. Meet at the car park on Rudry Common (OS Map ref.183865) at 6.45 pm. Contact David M on 029 20765815 or 0773 6339013.

Sunday 21st Pontsticill Resevoir •• – This is a moderate 9 mile circular walk around the reservoir. It starts at the Red Cow pub and follows the forest trail west and then to Bryn Cefnog on the east of the reservoir. Afterwards at the Red Cow for refreshments. Tuesday 23rd Historic Llandaff Walk • – Short walk around Llandaff taking in the historical sites including the Cathedral & Insole Court and ending with a drink at the Maltsters. Start 6.30 pm on the Cathedral Green. Contact Rhona on 078164 99754.

Sunday 28th Usk Valley walk – Part 7: Talybont-on-Usk to LLangynidr ••- A pleasant 7 mile circular walk, partly along the wooded hills on the South side of the river and partly along the canal continues this walk as the river threads its way between the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains.
