Friday 3rd – Monday 6th Early Spring Bank Holiday in Tintagel, Cornwall – Join Sian on the north coast of Cornwall for great weekend of walking. Tintagel YHA is situated on rugged cliff tops overlooking the sea, but is only a 15 minute walk into Tintagel. The weekend will include a variation of walks, opportunity for sightseeing and, at least one group meal in a local hostelry. Only £46 for 3 nights, it’s a weekend not to be missed. Fully booked, but you can book in at a nearby B&B. If anyone wishes to join the group over the weekend, but wish to arrange their own accommodation, please contact Sian on 07866 310046 to let her know you are coming.

Thursday 9th Wenallt Walk • – A three mile walk through the woodlands and meadows north of Cardiff taking in bluebells, views across the Bristol Channel and a Norman Motte. Starts from the Deri Inn, Rhiwbina at 6.30 pm. Afterwards at the pub for a drink. Also accessible by bus numbers 21 and 23. Contact Julian on 07773 228290 for details. Sunday 12th Wye Valley Walk •• – A 8 Mile Moderate Gorge(ous) – Fascinating and varied walk taking in King Arthur’s Cave, the Seven Sisters View Points, Biblins Bridge and Superb Symonds Yat Rock. BPL and Refreshments in Symonds Yat at Saracens Head or the Tea Rooms. Most scenic parts of River Wye in one trip! Leave Chapter at 9.30am. Contact Phil Sz on 07967 381243 for details.

Sunday 12th Smaller Cog Walk • – Join Phil and Gill for a 2 mile walk around Llandaff Fields, Cardiff with play areas for the children to enjoy and cafes. Sunday 12th Small Cog Walk – Coastal Walk • – A walk will be around the beautiful coastal area of Ogmore by Sea and Southerndown. This is the rescheduled walk due to very bad weather in February, hopefully the weather should be good by May!! – Meet at 11.30am Portobello House, (A4524) Pass Ogmore Castle and about one mile on you right there is free parking. Tuesday 14th Three Peaks Trial Debrief – A review of this year’s event. A chance for all volunteers to come and share their experiences followed by drinks. Meet Chapter at 8pm. Room TBC

Saturday 18th Rounders Match – Join Jane & John for a game of rounders at Heath Park. Meet at 6.30pm by the children’s playground. Afterwards at Jane and John’s house. All welcome. Contact Jane & John on 029 2075 9980.

Saturday 18th Bedlinog Walk ••• – 20 miles in the Taf Bargoed Valley to include views to the Beacons, prehistoric burial mounds, Roman remains and lost churches. BPL. Contact Steve B on 07812 586949 or by e-mail stevebees13@yahoo.co.uk. (Public transport walk)

Sunday 19th Vale of Glamorgan Walk • – 5 mile morning walk near Hensol in the Vale of Glamorgan. BPL. Leave Chapter at 10am prompt. For details contact Marilyn on 029 20596171.

Tuesday 21st City Walk • – A circular walk to Llandaff Fields and Bute Park from Llandaff village and back. Meet at 6.20pm at the front of Llandaff Cathedral. Drinks in Llandaff after the walk. For details contact Katherine on 029 20881572.

Tuesday 28th Garth Mountain Walk •• – 3.5 mile Walk up Garth Mountain, always worth the effort of the incline as there are spectacular views at the top of the mountain. Meet at Taffs Well station car park at 7.15pm. Afterwards at the Gwaelod-y-Garth Inn for refreshment. Contact Lawrence on 029 20733012.
